Sternclassics becomes Everstern

Our marketplace has a new name: from today, Sternclassics is called Everstern. A new name and a new address – the same two founders and the same passion for special cars. Here is why we are renaming and what it means for you.
Why a new name?
We have only been online since mid-October – and we soon realised that we should take another look at our name. There were two reasons for this.
First, we wanted to protect our name as a trademark of our own. In doing so, it became clear that this would have been difficult with Sternclassics. Second, Sternclassics sounded like classic cars, and only classic cars. But we want youngtimers such as the W124 coupé, modern AMG models and the classics of tomorrow to find their place here just as much.
A new name is easiest this early on – a step like this only gets harder later. So we chose a name now that suits us and that we can keep for the long term.
Everstern combines the English word “ever” – as in forever – with the idea that matters to us: cars with character and history that do not age but mature. And it is a name that works in all six languages of our marketplace and is easy to remember.
Some cars never fade.
This line has been on our site from the very start, and it is staying. In four words, it says what matters to us: some cars do not lose their shine just because a new series arrives. They deserve a place where they are presented well – and buyers who appreciate them.

Small, but European from the start
Everstern is run by two people from Münster, not a big company. Even so, we built the marketplace in six languages from day one: German, English, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian. That is also why our address is now everstern.eu. After all, the right buyer for a special car is often not around the corner but in the next country.
What stays the same
First things first: for you, almost nothing changes.
What you will notice
On your first visit to the new address, you will be signed out once. That is because your browser stores sign-ins separately for each address. Simply sign in as usual with your email address and password – after that, everything is as before.
If you sign in with a passkey, please set it up again once. A passkey is tied to the address it was created for. Sign in with your password and add a new passkey in your account under Security. Confirmation via an authenticator app keeps working as before.
From now on, our emails come from addresses ending in @everstern.eu. If you have set up filters or contacts for Sternclassics in your inbox, it is best to update them right away so that our messages reliably reach you.

What comes next
We are still at the beginning, and we know it. Every listing, every piece of feedback and every recommendation helps us build Everstern step by step. If you would like to sell a special car or have an idea for something we could do better, write to us – we read every message ourselves. You can still read how it all began in our article “Sternclassics is live”.
See you on everstern.eu.
